Here' a couple of email comments sent in to me by a SOTW member (Saxophone Oasis ID: WD40)
"I thought it was already established that this guy (connhunter) no longer owned the instrument."
"If saxismyaxe is being fair, as he asserts, why would he post something like that from a guy who has said he no longer owns the instrument?"
Yes, well.....hasn't it been made obvious? The content of ConnHunter's message to saxismyaxe is totally false. Additionally, the email quote (my email statement to ConnHunter) has been altered, changing the meaning by 180 degrees, so to speak. That saxontheweb gleefully publishes false, 3rd party information, including altered personal quotes, proporting that it is accurate and true is surely going to go full circle.

And now to saxismyaxe (Is it really now?)........and why no one has ever heard him actually try to play the thing...... I'm cracking myself up here.
Many have thanked me for presenting the "other side" of the story.
Work continues here, as it always has, a steady 10 - 12hrs/day. Not one thing has changed, and I will insure that it doesn't. Though grossly unappreciated by low-end consumers who would equate it to routine band instrument repair, martinmods' hand-made modification fabricaton work, of all original design is, and remains, a slow, timeless process. What does "timeless" mean?
The fastest way to do anything is to do it perfect the first time. The only way to do anything perfect is to toss all considerations of Time, out the window.
If you want mass-produced, off-the-shelf speed, you don't want martinmods to do it. Buy a modern horn.
I'll be going over all of saxismyaxe's quotes and posted commentary, instance by instance, and in detail, all the way back to his endorsement, as saxontheweb administrator, of the ridiculous public destruction of my martinmods' trial merchandise (Bonneville Pads) by saxontheweb member, medfuturist. I feel that it is essential and a great service to the saxophone community, to expose this, what I would consider, propaganda.
